Hey there, fabric lovers!
I have exciting triangle news!
I now have listed in my Spoonflower shop three new designs that are perfect for making pennant buntings.
Fabric buntings are the perfect eco-friendly, reusable party decor!
I present to you... blues, pinks, and a neutral cappuccino cream... so they are perfect for boys, girls, and surprises! (Ha!)
Each design includes stars, stripes, and dots, so you can use all three, any combination, or just your favorite (I'm partial to stars!).
You can sew two triangles together and create double-sided pennants--or even use a zig zag stitch and sew each triangle onto a sturdy backing fabric (I suggest felt), and then trim out with pinking shears to give it a kitschy contrasting border, and that way you get a slightly larger pennant.
For my samples, I opted to use a bottle of "Stiffen Stuff" spray to make the fabric sturdy and to keep the edges from fraying. A great option for a quick and easy no-sew project.
Enjoy! If you use them, I would love to see your work! Feel free to send your project photos or links to kristi at bohobear dot com.
Squee! Party on!
These are set up with the triangles about 3 inches tall--I can make them larger for you upon request.
The fabric designs are also super fun to use as a solid pattern--perfect for you geeky triangle lovers. :)
Hope you enjoyed my little photo gallery of pennants...
I quite enjoyed mixing and matching. :)
Stripe, stripey happiness.
I'll zip it now. ;)
