So it looks like my little Home Tours are turning out to be a Wednesday thing...we'll see if I can manage to keep this up.
Today I'm sharing just a bit of my Fireplace and favorite light. Our living/dining/kitchen/computer *room* is one massive open area (LOVE), so today's post shows off the *middle* of this space. :)
One of my favorite features in the house is this super pretty light fixture. I just love it. I probably wouldn't have been clever enough to choose it, so I'm glad the previous owner had good taste.
It creates a beautiful reflection on the walls. <3
The one crazy thing about this light is that the dimmer switch is down the hall in the rec room behind the door INSIDE the closet. The wiring 'round here needs some attention for sure!
So, of course, obsessing over my pretty light, I posted this Instagram on Tumblr a few weeks ago, and my wonderful friend Merin pointed out that it looks like the arc reactor. Ahh! Now I love it even more. :)
So, also in the middle of the house we have our lovely fireplace. <3
The previous owners did all the rock and brickwork themselves (wow!). I totally have a crush on my fireplace.
I will hopefully take a better pic soon of all my pretties up there. Jon just redid the wiring setup on the mantle for me, so I have a couple of little lamps up there now too.
By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. --- Proverbs 24:3,4, ESV
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
