DIY Plant Markers!
Today I am thankful for my garden and the cute little plant markers I made!
And thankful for Jon cutting up the little pieces of kindling for me.
He said I could use the table saw and trim them myself...and I said I'd rather not cut my fingers off.
I cut out and laminated my pieces first. then used my staple gun to attach them to the wooden stakes--making sure not to staple through the paper part, just the plastic part so water won't soak in--I left a wide plastic edge when I trimmed them apart for this purpose.
And in use...
I typed in the names for my own garden since I knew what I was planting (Mostly!), but I created some blank templates too for the extras and all the veggies I forgot about.
I've attached PDFs of my templates below for your creating pleasure. They include some filled-in names and blank pages as well. Just print the pages you need. Enjoy! :D
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
