My phone memory card is currently full of ducks and kittens and, as usual, many, many beautiful skyscapes!
I'm not sure what compels me to capture so many moments in digital format--it's nothing new, and I don't expect it to stop either. I've been taking photos (and photos and photos and photos!) for 20+ years. I used to make albums, and then websites, and before social media became all the rage you could have expected to receive emails from me weekly (if not daily!) chock-full of photos (of my crafty items, and my cats and a red-headed baby mostly!).
Finding time to share is getting harder now that the weather is warming up. There are far too many chores to be done that trump the time it takes to blog an actual photo story--so I'm ever thankful for Facebook and Instagram where I can quickly caption something I want to share. Hopefully my kiddo will enjoy looking back at all my digital record-keeping when she's older and appreciate every splen·dif·er·ous sunrise and sunset.
I think our life is pretty amazing out in the middle of nowhere.
Our adorable kittens will be outside running around before ya know it, so there are lots more kitten photos to be taken (and Instagrammed!) in my near future.
Each duck, and kitten, and sunset is a blessing.

Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
