Today I'm thankful for spring! And turning the heat off (again), and organic seeds, and DIY starter trays, and hay bales and sunshine! First of all, these tiny flowers all over our yard. Love. Setting up our straw bale garden (that would be zoo doo on the top!). Princess helping me with my starter trays. (also keeping an eye on Adie!) Lovely random flowers popping up! It's fun to see what's coming up since this is our first spring here. There are some tulips blooming now too--which I'm not a fan of--but they're purple, so we'll forgive them for being tulips. (Not the purple tulip of which I speak. I have no idea what these things are.) Seed sorting! Lovely, lovely heirloom seeds from Baker Creek. My fancy schmancy seed starting tray. I'm hoping to get a lot more started this week, and hopefully get a straw bale cold frame set up this weekend so we can bring them outside. I'm loving all the DIY seed starter tray ideas on the interwebs:
