Duggins Castle Journal | Mid November

Happy November! It finally feels like *really real* fall. Thankfully rainy this week too!

We're in the midst of processing hubby's two deer he got this past (opening) weekend. We procured a new-to-us stand up freezer for the house and our chest freezer moved to the garage. We're also replacing our two little fridges with a grown-up (HAHA) size fridge/freezer for the kitchen. So the house is once again a giant mess as we sort out all that rearranging and processing--oh my!

Life goes on and it's glorious in all it's busyness. We could all use some nice long winter naps. I'm hoping to mark some down on my calendar soon!

I'm planning a few smallish Christmas sewing projects, drawing every spare moment I find (mostly while riding in the car or finally sitting down for half an episode of Longmire before we fall asleep at night), and enjoying brief jaunts out to the greenhouse when I find a few moments here and there. I planted little pots of lettuce on Saturday--it will be fun to see if they grow!

Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.

I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

    Welcome :)
