Today's #joydare lovingly corresponds with my kitchen!
20th...Three gifts--at breakfast, lunch, dinner...
Breakfast...I got to enjoy a snow day this week and have breakfast whilst Miss Celia slept in. There were 4 puffy blue jays and a pair of cardinals enjoying my back yard. I couldn't zoom in close enough to get a good picture, but they were so adorable all puffed up to stay warm. In the first pic, look up in the top of the tree--you can see two of the blue jays (they look like pop corn! and barely make out the cardinal a bit above them.
They look like popcorn to me!
And a very amateur video trying to zoom in on them. :)
A gift at lunch...
My sis let us have her old microwave and cook top when we moved since the house didn't have an oven. I've rather enjoyed learning how to cook smaller.
Don't mind the mess, organization is still in progress! :D
And as for a gift at dinner...
I'm anxious to go home tonight and admire my handiwork. As you can see in the pic above, my little cart had some scuzzy damage on the doors, so since I can't get it outside to paint it anytime soon, I did a quick job with some shabby chic scrapbook paper for now. <3
Before and after....please excuse the cans of spray paint anxiously awaiting warmer weather so they can come out and play!
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
