A gift worn, given away, shared.
A gift worn....I have two today actually....my necklace from my hubby on our first Christmas together (before he was my hubby!). And my pink leather bracelet...it was actually just a gift that came along with the super cute pink pocket knife Jon gave me for our anniversary last year, so, of course, I decorated it..you know, lace, glow-in-the-dark tape...I wear it often...not sure he even knows. :)
A gift given away...
One of my favorite little things to carry around was my pen I'd gotten from one of our Designed Sisterhood nights....loved that thing, but I had an opportunity to give a few things to a stranger (never met her) at church and decided to tuck that in as well. Then the next week I ended up getting an even nicer pen ....it's so funny to me that God cares about little things. It really reminds me to be generous...not because I might get something back, but because God wants us to be generous, and if He took the time to give me something like that as a reminder, why would I want to forget about it?
A gift shared...
At Christmastime our neighbor--who lovingly feeds the strays in our neighborhood--gave Celia a Christmas card with $25 in it. I asked Celia if she'd like to buy a bag of cat food for her as a gift with the money and she was WAY more than happy to do so. I love her generous heart. <3
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
