Blessings...always so blessed, but always so wasteful with my time apparently--I need to remedy that!
Anyway...this week's blessings are many...
I came up with a fun little idea (so I hope) for sharing my designs on my stitchery page. So thankful for little ideas that pop up here and there!
My cousin posted this awesome quote, and it makes me look at my blog and think...is anyone listening? Would anyone even want to read this? I'll take that as a challenge!
So while I'm at it, I'm thankful for a cousin who shares uplifting things on Facebook! She also posted this one:
So that's the gift of another great quote and the gift of Seth Godin--cuz he really does say some great stuff! Not to mention the gift of JOY coming from the Lord and not circumstances. I have plenty of reasons to pout, but I'm so full of joy, why would I want to waste time thinking about the negatives or wanting to get "away" from my life? Life is good and days that feel too long are even better. What a blessing to feel a slow day and realize how much time we've actually been given. Time is an incredible gift.
Whoah...rambly there much? Yay for word processing programs and easy digital rambling. <3
Back to social media.... so I'm thankful for many awesome Facebook friends and pages who post uplifting thoughts and Scriptures throughout the day. I'm also thankful for the I DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS button sometimes from the chronically grumpy crowd.
I'm thankful for Etsy, and Weebly, and Mailchimp, and Facebook, and Twitter, and Spoonflower, and Society6, and Redbubble, and Indiemade who all make it easy to have a little online business without pulling all of my hair out!
And I'm thankful for a new friend who was able to help us with our taxes this year. Such a blessing!
I'm thankful for online church when it's too snowy and icy out to risk crossing scary icy bridges.
And I'm thankful for a job with vacation time to use up when it's just too yucky to venture out in the weather. (And thankful for being able to make up that precious vacation time too!)
Thankful for my warm shawl my sis gave her bridesmaids at her wedding--keeps me warm in a chilly office!
Thankful for water, and water fountains, and break rooms and modern facilities---we are SO stinkin' blessed in this country.
I'm super thankful it's Wednesday--we watched church online Sunday because of the ice, so I'm happy to be going to church tonight!
That'll do for today, I suppose...There are so many more things...so many tiny little things and big huge things to be thankful for!
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
