One thousand gifts!
I have no idea if I'm anywhere near having listed 1,000 gifts this year. I know I've forgotten many of the blessings I've received--how sad! But I'm so glad I decided to write this blog and make a point of being thankful. I'm praying I can continue to keep making lists and making sure to take time out of each and every day to let God know how grateful I am for every blessing.
I keep notes with the Evernote app, and I was just looking through it this morning and found a note I wrote last week. "With everything. Everything. Everything." I had to write that down while listening to the song..."With Everything"... and I had to wonder, do I love God with everything? Does everything in my life shout His glory? Is my every waking moment an act of worship? I would love to say it is. I will say it is more than it used to be, but nowhere near enough...pretty sure if it was "enough" I wouldn't need to be on earth anymore. My goal...my assignment is to worship God every waking moment. With EVERYTHING. Can you even imagine what earth would be like if everyone accepted that challenge?
It may sound silly, but I am SERIOUSLY grateful for techno remixes! This album just puts my soul in the right rhythm. Oh, thank you, Jesus, for MUSIC!
So thankful for JRC having Paul Tripp at church this year! I'm reading his marriage book right now. SO good. So insightful. I'm planning to turn around and read it again and hope more of it sticks!
Grace. I'm pretty sure I can't make the font big enough to describe how much joy that word gives me.
Death, where is your sting?
Your power is as dead as my sin
The cross has taught me to live
And mercy, my heart now to sing
The day and its trouble shall come
I know that Your strength is enough
The scandal of grace, You died in my place
So my soul will live
Oh to be like You
Give all I have just to know You
Jesus, there's no one besides You
Forever the hope in my heart
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
