One of my little hopes this year is to read more. No promises or resolutions, just a hope. I used to read like crazy, but not since having my kiddo 9 years ago. Mommy brain took over some of the concentration part of my brain--apparently! I'm hoping to read through Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts this year. http://onethousandgifts.com/about She has this lovely printable available (http://onethousandgifts.com/gifts-for-you/a-100-day-calendar-printable-for-fresh-starts), so I printed it out for my kiddo to start writing down each day what she's thankful for. I thought I'd print one for myself too, but perhaps a bigger challenge would be to blog about it. I'm hoping to do this *every* day, but I won't beat myself up if I forget, because that would be the opposite of being grateful and living in joy. At least three a day should get me to 1,000 this year, but I'm sure I'll forget often, so today my list is longer... This morning I'm grateful for...

Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things. Welcome :) MY SHOPS
