I have a blog.
I can write about whatever I want on my blog.
Chickens. Gardening. God. Scrapbooking. Etsy. Spoonflower. You name it. (Wait, I name it.)
Sometimes I forget these things, so this is my notice to myself. I have permission to publish. My writing doesn't have to be earth shattering to be important. In fact, my life and living and working and breathing doesn't have to be earth shattering to be important.
My goal is to walk with Jesus better. To be better tomorrow than I am today. To think about God at least a little more each day than the day before. And at the end I'll still be a sinner saved by grace, but hopefully walking closer with Jesus and doing less of that sin thing.
Moving out to the middle of nowhere was absolutely jumping in feet first with our eyes wide open. We knew it would be a lot of work, and boy howdy were we ever right.
Maybe this blog is about keeping Jesus in the midst of never-ending life lessons....then again, everyone's life should be about that. I'm just going to write about it is all. :)
So here's a picture of my fantastic green tomatoes and fresh lemon basil sauteing for breakfast one morning, because I think they're beautiful.
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
