I knew at the beginning of November I'd not get very far in posting my joy dares. Not so shocking though. :)
I also started a plan to write out a thankful Scripture each day. I got about 5 days in on that one. I love blogging and writing in my planner, but let's face it, real life is not easy to predict, even if you have a wonderful, sparkly planner and schedule--and all those things are okay--just not something I'm good at!
I even have half a thought written down in my Evernote to write a blog post about the rough things in farm life instead of just the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, but that thought as well sits awaiting my attention. (This blog post has even been cooking for a couple of weeks itself!)
I used to beat myself up about unfinished projects and plans, but I've ceased wasting my time feeling bad about things like that. The things that are super important--feeding my family, working 8 hours a day, keeping the house *kinda* clean--those things get done, and those are my real jobs. The blog? It's fun and serves a purpose for my little small biz, but it's still not my number one priority. God > husband > kiddo > cats > probably my job > possibly my blog ;)
All that to say it's been a gorgeous fall, super busy, super wonderful--full of church, and practices, and life group, and shopping, baking, field trips, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, rearranging, deer processing, not nearly enough sleep, but good good times.
We're looking forward to a couple of days off for Thanksgiving and hanging out with the family. <3
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
