...and close the loop (Recycle! You remember that song, right!?) Today I am thankful for repurposing! This weekend Celia helped me get started on painting our old bench to go on the front porch. I loved the red, but this teal paint was a freebie, so we thought we'd give it a go! Power-washing before painting. So thankful my kiddo likes to do projects (Because wow, there are PLENTY of projects to do!). And as for more recycling....a neighbor of friends is moving, so we got some great bargains for Jon's workshop, and some old carpet remnants we'll be using in the garden (for walkways--great way to kill grass--pictures forthcoming!). I am ever-thankful for hand-me-downs, freebies, and dirt cheap bargains! It sure takes a lot to get a little farm going! God's provision is always more than enough--and I'm finding it to be incredibly amusing how very detailed He is. :) |
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things. Welcome :) MY SHOPS
