I'm still in awe of the bits of country life that have surprised me... how adorable cows are and how much I want to pet them all, turkeys traipsing lazily through our fields, how intensely bright the stars are and how (even though I had hoped for it) we can truly see the Milky Way coursing over our house at night. It's beyond terrific. Glorious gifts to remind me daily how much we are blessed. Truly, truly blessed.
And some of the most lovely blessings are the sunrises and sunsets we get to enjoy. It's been fun to see how this changes over the seasons and with our schedules--all depending on times we leave the house to trek into town or how late we end up heading home.
This morning was quite a visual feast--such a glorious sunrise! I can't pick just a few, so here are the pictures I took on the way into work this morning.
Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.
I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

This is one of my most very popular designs. I love seeing my fabric on children's clothing and accessories. <3
