Three hard eucharisteos...
I can't help but relate every single thing to our move. Every time we thought we knew the property was ours... yet we were told no. We waded through four months of muck to get into our new home. Everything seemed like a yes, but we were told no, no, no.
And then all of the sudden, here we are, soaking up the grace of a gift of a home and all the graces of all those nos and all the bits of learning picked up along the way. Every no was a grace just as much as the yes was. Every extra step, every extra paper, every extra silly test, and hurdle. All is grace.
Learning to trust and wait. Learning to keep praying. Learning to keep expecting God's grace even when it doesn't seem like anything's going right. Knowing that HE has a plan no matter what little plans we have, HIS plans are always, infinitely better than mine.
You do so well in so many things—you trust God, you’re articulate, you’re insightful, you’re passionate, you love us—now, do your best in this, too. 2 Corinthians 8:7ish (MSG)
But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech,
in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you--see that you excel in this act of grace also.
2 Corinthians 8:7, ESV
