It's been almost 2 full weeks since we moved in! Wow, time flies!

The first week I was completely exhausted and zombiefied. I'm still exhausted, but I'm getting there...although, thanks to my Fitbit, I can track my sleep, and I'm the only person I know who can go to bed half an hour earlier and get 10 minutes less sleep than usual. Go figure!

My amazing husband got our washer and dryer in working order at last, and I was able to do laundry in my own home finally. Even did a load this morning! Now that really makes it feel like home. Domestic bliss. :)

Our schedule is completely different since our morning and evening drive is just about 40 minutes now (one way), and that's only the pickup/drop-off of the kiddo at MawMaw and PawPaw's house and doesn't include driving me to work and then Jon driving to work. He told me we now put at least 96 miles on the car every day (that's not including trips to the store, etc. while in town!).
In other--slightly less exciting--news, I thought I looked slightly more awake today than I have for a good two weeks, so I thought a selfie was in order. So, selfie.

Now, on to today's Joy dare prompt...

Three gifts in working...

Assuming by "in the working" the prompt means "in the works," the church girl in me would call these "unspokens," cuz most of them ain't none of your business. :)

There are many, many gifts in the works. And the further along we go, the further back I can look and see the hand of God working all along in the details of our lives, and it gives me ridiculous goosebumps to sink into the awe of God's provision and orchestration. Every detail is accounted for--He leaves nothing untouched! Beautiful!
Open up before God, keep nothing back; He’ll do whatever needs to be done: He’ll validate your life in the clear light of day and stamp you with approval at high noon.

Psalm 37:5-6, MSG

Welp, that's today's update. I'm writing an exciting article on downsizing our appliances for sometime this week--I know you can't wait!  --KD

Hi, I'm Kristi! Christ follower. Farmer's wife. Mom. Gardener. Artist.

I love to create surface design patterns and mandalas (and, and and...). You can find my work at the links below. We live on a little 20 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, and that's what I mostly like to blog about. Home, gardening, Jesus, cats. All my favorite things.

    Welcome :)
