![]() This is just a quick recipe I threw together the other day that ended up tasting super yummy. As always, feel free to substitute what you have, because cooking should be easy! 1 lb ground beef
1 bag microwavable/steamable broccoli 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese ...grated or shredded is fine 12 slices American cheese ...or equivelent of some sort of melty cheese you have on hand ...don't use cheese food/it doesn't melt :) 1 can green beans Onion powder Chili powder Garlic powder Salt & pepper to taste 2-3 cups water I always brown my ground beef in a large non-stick sauce pan/kettle (whatever you call it thingy) so I only have one pan to wash at the end! Brown with desired amount of salt & pepper. Drain off the grease. Add spices. I used about 1 teapoon of each. You can always adjust things to suit your own family's tastes. Just experiment! I love the new steamable bags of frozen veggies. Just pop it in the microwave per directins and add to the cooked beef. Then add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer as long as you have time. It will taste great immediately, but I like to let my green beans absorb the flavors. That's it. Yummy soup. :)
